What is the Academy?

 

The Academy is our subscriber program that runs throughout the year. It consists of a weekly class either Saturday or Sunday, in which we will learn to enjoy water sports, mainly windsurfing, in the most accessible way.

INSCRIPTION

 

 

There are a total of 17 classes from February and 13 classes from March.
There will be NO CLASSES on the following weekends: March 15-16, April 19-20.

 

Discover the magic of water sports with Ocean Republik our Academy. In this “Aquatic Academy” we will teach from the youngest (from 6 years old) to the oldest to develop in sports related to the sea, Windsurfing, Stand Up Paddle Surf (SUP), Wingfoil, Kayak, Surf and Surfskate.

At the Marina Academy, we will focus on learning windsurfing, always being the reigning modality. However, our goal is that you learn to enjoy the ocean as much as possible, so during the trimester, it is possible that we do surf lessons, paddle surf, kayaking, wingfoil, foil with boat, skate...

The difference between the ACADEMY and ACADEMY PRO, is that in the ACADEMY PRO is included all kind of material, and in the ACADEMY is limited to beginners material. 

In our Malvarrosa Academy, we will focus on teaching surfing, which will be the predominant activity. However, throughout the trimester, we will also teach paddle surfing, kayaking and surfskate.

 

The idea is to turn you into true lovers of the sea!

 
 

Group schedules Ocean Republik Academy Junior:

  • Saturdays from 11:45 to 14:00 
  • Sunday from 11:45 to 14:00

Group schedules Ocean Republik Academy Senior:

  • Saturdays from 15:00 to 17:00
  • Sunday from 15:00 to 17:00

Group schedules Ocean Republik Academy Malvarrosa:

  • Saturdays from 11:00 to 13:00

 

This year we are continuing with the advanced windsurfing level for kids who have sailed before and want to perfect their sailing. Any child who is no longer using beginner windsurfing equipment / school equipment (i.e. 200+ board and non-rigid sail) must enroll in Academy Pro. 

To book at Academy Junior and Academy Malvarrosa you must first register one of the Legal Guardians in this link (only in case you are not already registered). In case you are already registered on our website, you just have to log in with your username and start the registration process. If you do not remember your password, please let us know and we will send you a recovery email.

 

Material included in the price by the school: wetsuit, vest, harness, navigation equipment.

Equipment to bring: street shoes, booties, swimsuit, sunscreen.

Important Info

* It is taught in our school in the Marina de Valencia.

* There will be a discount for Large Family, but it will not be cumulative with other discounts. 

* Account number for payments that are not made through the payment gateway ES94 3058 2237 9127 2001 3386.

* Discounts are not cumulative.

* Registration will not be effective until payment is made.

Cancellation Policy

Ocean Republik reserves the right to cancel the activity in the following cases:

  • Adverse weather conditions (sea and wind not favorable for learning).
  • Not considering safe navigation
  • If the instructor considers that the student is not in optimal conditions for the class.
  • If any technical problem or unforeseeable accident arises, which prevents the execution of the activity by the school.
  • The student must give notice of non-attendance to the activity, if there is a reason of "Major Cause". If he/she is unable to finish the season and "Previous Medical Justification", he/she will be able to change for the following season of Academy (in case of available places) or refund the partial or total amount.
  • The use of cell phones or electronic games is strictly PROHIBITED during your stay at the school.
